OUR DEDICATED AND HIGHLY QUALIFIED STAFF has experience from academic research as well as from biotech- and big pharma industry R&D operations. Actar employs project managers and specialists in biology, pharmacology, pharmacy, medicinal- and analytical chemistry as well as intellectual property rights. Actar has well-equipped research laboratories in Stockholm and Uppsala and, frequently, uses an extensive network of consultants and contract research organizations.

 

WE CAN PROVIDE access to Actar’s diverse compound library. By using advanced and refined screening technologies we can identify novel compounds rapidly and effectively. As one of a few laboratories in the world, Actar uses the Corning® Epic® System, for cell-based and biochemical assays. This system enables screening of “orphan” drug-targets as it uses a label-free detection technology.
